<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If your school uses MPASS, please note that to avoid duplicate accounts, it is important to use the joining code and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-oppi.fi\/en\/instructions\/#account-by-mpass-and-joining-a-course:~:text=template%20messages%20below.-,Account%20by%20MPASS%20and%20joining%20a%20course,-A)%20If%20you\">MPASS instructions<\/a>&nbsp;when adding students to a course. If the student already has an Opiq account created with an email, the MPASS authentication can be linked to it: Click the name in the top right-hand corner \u2013 Settings \u2013 Connections with external user accounts. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the <strong>Tasks and courses<\/strong> tab. Click the <em>Configure adding license<\/em> button, select the right license and finally click <em>Activate adding a license<\/em>. You can also add other books ordered for your school to the course using the Add kit button. Please note that you must activate both licenses: Activate the license for another book using the Change license button after all students have already joined the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Joining with a code<\/strong>. This method is highly recommended especially if you use <strong>MPASS identification<\/strong>, have a large number of pupils and\/or several groups. Click on the green <em>Activate joining with code<\/em> button and copy the code into the Student instructions below sent or shown to the group.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don&#8217;t use MPASS, students also need <strong>a school code<\/strong> when finalizing their accounts. Fill in the pupil\u2019s details and click <strong>Add pupils<\/strong>.&nbsp;An invitation to the platform is sent automatically to the new pupil\u2019s email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you add pupils to the course manually, you do not need to give the template\/example message and codes. The invitation contains a link to register <strong>by creating an Opiq account.<\/strong> After completing the registration, the pupil will be automatically added to the correct school and course. Once the course is archived, it cannot be used in teaching. After this, the course can be found in the archive view, which can be accessed from the <em>More options<\/em> link in the Courses module on the front page. However, the course can be restored from the archive for teaching use in its settings view. The teacher can also just hide the course from his own home page. and activate its license, you as a teacher will see the number of remaining licenses for the book in question. In the role of a school administrator, you can see all the licenses ordered for the school, manage user accounts, as well as add and remove licenses. The role of school administrator can be granted to anyone that works at the school. You can get one by sending us an email.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-pane kt-accordion-pane kt-accordion-pane-2 kt-pane14361_cd15cf-2a\"><div class=\"kt-accordion-header-wrap\"><button class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-header kt-acccordion-button-label-show\" type=\"button\"><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-title-wrap\"><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-title\">The pupil has been added to the course, but the chapters of the book do not open \/ a red triangle appears after the pupil\u2019s name in the list of pupils.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"kt-blocks-accordion-icon-trigger\"><\/span><\/button><\/div><div class=\"kt-accordion-panel kt-accordion-panel-hidden\"><div class=\"kt-accordion-panel-inner\">\n<p>Check the course settings and make sure that the license is activated. If there is a text that reads \u201dAdding licenses is not activated\u201d, you have to click the \u201cConfigure adding licenses\u201d button and follow the steps you see on the platform. If the activation has already been done, the error is not in the activation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The licenses may also have run out because not enough licenses have been ordered for your school. Sometimes, licenses can run out because pupils have several accounts for which the license has been unnecessarily activated. If you suspect this might be the case, please contact us or ask someone in your school with the school admin role in Opiq to check and remove the unnecessarily activated licenses. Write a title, description for your task and, if you wish, enable pupils to input text as their answer. Please note that students can upload attachments to all exercises. The assignment can be given to students using the \u201cAssign task\u201d function or saved for later use.
